Welcome To High Elm Archers, an archery club located at Altcar , near Hightown and Formby ,Merseyside , North West England.
High Elm Archers is a friendly archery club with members of all ages and abilities. Located at Altcar in Merseyside. We welcome complete beginners as well as established archers, whether they wish just to shoot for fun or take part in competition. We have facilities for indoor and outdoor target archery. Members take part in Recurve archery, Compound archery and Traditional archery . We occasionally hold an informal short range club clout archery competition
Venues
Our Summer venue is Altcar armed forces training camp, located near Hightown and Formby , between Liverpool and Southport, a very secure area with ample parking and toilet facilities.
Our winter indoor venue is Ince Blundell village hall ,Lady Green Lane Ince Blundell were we can shoot up to 20 yards. The hall is heated and has ample parking, kitchen and toilet facilities.
Beginners
Do you want to join an archery club in the Merseyside area ? or just want to try archery ? High Elm Archery club hold beginners courses throughout the year dependant on demand.
The cost is £35.00,and the courses are run over three 3 hour sessions
